Who is Keeana Kee?
Keeana Kee is a Latvian-born singer who began pursuing a music career after her modeling work exposed her to new opportunities and gave her the confidence to follow her passion. She wrote her first song at the age of 10 and grew up idolizing artists like Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. After spending her teen years in London, Keeana moved to the U.S. in 2016, where she collaborated with Grammy-winning producer Maffio on her hit song “Coconut Rum and Coke.” Known for her tropical and breezy sound, Keeana has become an advocate for LGBTQI+ representation, using her music to empower others to be true to themselves. In addition to her musical achievements, she is also involved in giving back to the community through ISINA, a music talent search and mentoring program (The Photo Ladies, 2020).
The breezy pop sounds of Keeana Kee take on a captivating transformation when experienced in instrumental form, allowing the tropical rhythms and soulful melodies to shine without vocals. The absence of lyrics lets the intricate layers of her music come to the forefront, creating a more immersive and atmospheric experience. This instrumental journey enhances the emotional depth of her music, making it perfect for relaxation, focus, or simply enjoying the artistry of the sound.
